Victoria use th e potty Chair!! !

YEAH!!!!! Victoria peed in the Potty! I bought her potty chair today and Evan said to bring it in in and let her see it maybe she would use it. I have been working on her to use the potty, having her watching “Bear in the big blue house when you gotta go” and reading potty book. Like too big for diapers, where sesame streets Ernie use the potty. Well at first she sat on it with he diaper. Then we told her she need to take off her diaper to sit on the potty. I tried to put underwear on her “chonies” but she was throwing a fit about it so I just backed off. The she started to play with it like putting her toys in it so we out in the bathroom. The she started fussing how she wanted he potty chair so I told she could only have it if she would sit on it with out he diaper. Well after dinner she decided she was ready to sit on the potty without her diaper. So she sat and read her books. Bella woke up so I went to tend to bell and left Evan with Victoria. I was almost certain she would pee because she had been sitting there for a while and when I took of her diaper it was dry. So Even sat with her for a while but wanted to get back to the kitchen because he was in the middle of cleaning and backing an apple crisp so he came to check on me to see if I was almost done with Bella. A minuet later Victoria came in the room and said she was “all done so Evan said ok lets go put back on your diaper. And when he went in to the living room he said she did it! She pee-peed in the potty!! Yeah Victoria! I was kinda sad I missed it but I’m sure there will be plenty more opportunities to be part of her potty training!

I also cut my hair! Change! Yeah!!!

January 08

So I wanted to blog about January:

My New Year’s resolutions are:
1) Lose weight 11 pound goal for April
2) Read the scriptures daily
3) Read the scriptures daily to Victoria
4) Do laundry and Dishes daily

So far not doing to hot on doing the resolutions on a daily basis. I am exercising at least 3-5 time a week. Well enough about me.

Bella- very active loves her baby gym. Love’s Victoria. Yesterday when I was tickling Bella, Victoria was like, “Torias Turn” and so I tickle Victoria and she laughs and so Bella laughs, Bella thinks Victoria laughing is fun and she laughs it’s really cute because then all three of will be laughing! Evan showed me the way to tickle Bella: she like s it when we blow (like raspberry) on her tummy. Bella is 4 months now and weighs 20 lbs! In Carter’s clothes she wear size 12 months clothes!

Victoria- she likes her “castle” (it’s sleeping beauty’s castle I got from Tokyo Disney land. It came with pens that fit into the spires. The pens have characters on them from Cinderella. And when you push down on it it lights it up blue.) Well she loves it. She calls Cinderella mommy, Prince Charming is Daddy and The Fairy Godmother is Grandma!
I tried to get her hair cut so I took her to the beauty salon. She was fine until I took her to the chair. She just screamed and cried. I took a portable DVD player. I played her favorite movie toys story so she stopped crying until the beautician tried to cut her hair, then started screaming again. I gave her marshmallows which is like gold to toddlers and no luck she would not let the beautician cut her hair she would just cry and move her head. I even sat on the chair and held but she just wouldn’t cooperate. So finally wait seemed like five minutes. The beautician gave up and said we should try again later! I was frustrated, because I rush from work, nurse Bella really quick, rush to the NEX then try to find parking, finally find parking and all for nothing no hair cut! So we rush off to go and do my visiting teaching. Victoria was happy because she got to play with Johan & Samantha, which was nice because it’s so cold we don’t play out side much. So when we got home. I looked up on the internet on how to cut bangs. So on Sunday I decided I was going to cut here bangs. (She was sick on sat with a fever.) SO I combed her hair and distracted her with butterfly clips and so enough she has bangs and not bad looking either!
Victoria is getting more into books. We have decide to cut her TV watching time to 1 hr a day! So far we do pretty well. Sometimes it will vary from 1 hr to 1:30hr 2 hr max! She’s a very active & rough little girl and studies show TV for children like her fewer than 5 years old should only watch 1 hr of TV.
Well I think that’s all for January!

Evan- He doing great in school as usual. Getting A’s in his classes. He will have his degree by Nov if all goes to प्लान.

We had our 2 year anniversary for sealing! Yeah! On the 21 Jan 08!

Here We go

So this is all new and I wanted to give it a try. I think this may just be for me. But who knows maybe I'll share it. It 0704 and I'm up, I'm usually always up. Victoria woke up this morning at 0200 crying, I went to check on her and she was like "neck okay?" I think she was dreaming about when the blanket string got wrapped around her neck. Because she wouldn't let me put a blanket on her.

Well that’s our attempt at a family picture. We will try again. So Here how our holidays spanned out. Christmas Eve, We had a great Lunch with the Kiley family. We went to El Toritos. Good Food, but the service was kinda slow. Poor Evan when we were getting ready he found out that one of his favorite shirts had bleach spots on it so he got so frustrated and mad that his shirt was ruined he just rips it off like the incredible hulk. Buttons flying off and everything. I thought he was being over dramatic, It was funny. But he was really upset! No worries though he got over it!But then later that night he trying to get Victoria’s gift down from the closet and it caused a little avalanche, bring down his cameras tripod. It hit the floor just right and the top (the base for the camera) shattered. Poor Evan Not having a good day.

So Christmas day, it was a learning experience for us. It was our first just our family together. We usually have Christmas with our Families in Firebaugh. So I had asked Evan the night before if he wanted me to wake him up in the morning and he said "he would get up at a decent time” So when Victoria woke me up for the usual “Bananas, cereal, n-ilk (milk)” I got up and didn’t wake him. The night before I set up all the gifts on the table with the little people nativity next tem. So as she came in she saw everything. At first she was more intreasted in the Nativity. Yes I know baby Jesus is missing. I felt like King Harod looking for him. I kept asking Victoria where’s baby Jesus? And she goes “ Baby Jesus? Where?” Or “Baby Jesus, Where are you?” He is still lost to this day! But thanks to Chayann, she gave us a nativity ornament. I put that in the place of the missing baby Jesus so he was kinda there.

Well after she was done playing with the nativity she looks at all her presents and chooses one of her unwrapped gift ….Santa Soap.
