FHE Meringue and a black tomato

So for one of our FHE we did a lesson on the Hill of Cumorah; Joesph Smith finding the gold plates inside. One of the most precious treasures we have the Book of Mormon. Well in our Hill we had different treasurer inside ice cream! This was my first time working with meringue, and I thought it came out rather attractive!

Sadly enough a lot of work went into it and it wasn't that delicious and messy but at least it was pretty and the kids enjoy it!

And here is a late bloomer from our garden Black Tomatoes! I think they look pretty cool and they taste just like a regular tomato. I used them to cook with so I didn't notice much difference.

Bella and Owen's Tea party

Bella and Owen have a love hate relationship more leaning towards hate or should I say dislike! Owen picks on Bella by throwing/ hitting her and she just lays there and screams and cries. Bella will push him when she can, then he retaliates, ahh the vicious cycle. So when there are good times with them it is very special!!

So Bella comes to me and says she wants a tea party, so I say OK. I set up the table and Owen wonders over and sit and surprisingly enough Bella welcomed him. So they both sat down and had tea (water) party!

The room was a HOT MESS but they we sitting close enough to start fighting but they just enjoyed their program they where watching together! :0)

Thanksgiving/ Falling Leaves

Thanksgiving was soo fun and busy that the camera was forgotten!!! AHHH oh well! My sister Naomi cooked thanksgiving dinner at my house and my mom and other sister Sarah and her kids came over while My family and I went to Evan's Mothers house. We hung out with his bother Orion and wife Kayde an his oldest Brother Theron and his family. The food was good and we had fun being with family. Although I have to admit I was so happy to come home to leftover I didn't have to cook, that were soooo Delicious!!! Thanks Nai!

k now for the blog! While I was catching up on some beauty sleep, Evan took the kiddos out in the back yard to enjoy the fall weather. somewhere along the line they got the idea of helping fall come along. so they decide to shake/ whack the tree!

They had fun and the tree survived! Sillies!

Alden Senior Pictures

Alden decided for his senior pictures he wanted Evan to take his pictures. Evan really would have rather a professional done the pictures but Alden procrastinated so Evan did the best he could with little time and supplies. Surprisingly the pictures didn't turn out too bad. Lucky for Alden he's a good looking guy!
