Our trip to Tokyo

We decided to a trip to Tokyo.I had some leave built up that I needed to use and it just had so happen that the New Sano Hotel was having a special offer on there rooms 50% off. All the cards were in place! So we packed up and set off off for Tokyo to stay a night and a day!

Victoria waving good bye to Yokosuka with her sock (got to be comfy for an 1 1/2 to 2 hr drive)

Bella finally facing forward for the first time!
Such a big girl!

Here's a shot of Yokosuka (where we live)
We are going to be totally tourist on this trip so enjoy the landscape pictures!

Yokohoma Bay Bridge (my favorite bridge, reminds me of a homey feeling being that Yokohoma was my first duty station)

Did I mention this is my favorite bridge

Landmark tower and Queens towers (MM21) in Yokohoma

A neat looking bridge

Haneda Airport, cool Architectural sculpture

Coming into Tokyo on the right you'll see one of the largest farris wheel in Japan

The rainbow bridge, at night they illuminate it with rainbow colors

A very cool architecturally designed building

Twin tower look-a- like buildings (I'm sure they are really not but looked like it to me)

Tokyo skyline

You can see a pyramid looking building

Well we thought we were almost there- then traffic
;( Stuck behind a DUCK TRUCK

Neat looking Visa billboard

More neat buildings

They must like this slope design

It's just not Tokyo with out the sky scrapers

Only in Japan, a Crane on top of the building! How do they do that?

Japans version of the Eiffel tower - TOKYO TOWER!

Taller then the Eiffel Tower due to an extra long Athena at the top. That's actually used as a radio tower.

I don't know who King Jim is but it look cool!
It just not Christmas in Japan with the saying HAPPY CHRISTMAS!

Well we finally made it to the hotel-got to our room where Victoria was ecstatic about the special bed!

Soo soft!

The best kind for jumping on!

The view out our window (you can see angle Moroni on the Tokyo temple. Click on the picture. it looks kinda gold-ish the whole spire! just the right lighting I guess)

Well we tried to get out the room before night fall but did not succeed. So we strolled around in the park for just a bit and fed some ducks.

Then went for a stroll around the block and took in some sights, We headed back to the hotel for dinner and got ready for day 2 of our trip in Tokyo!
